This is "2006-05-03 - Pete - In The Attic - Let My Love Open The Door" by thewho.net on Vimeo, the home for high quality videos and the people who love them. It's been a theory of mine that Let My Love Open the Door ( Given that its use has been so ubiquitous in movies, TV shows, etc... over the years) has been among the most profitable songs Pete has written.... Though it never moved me to actually research it...
Underated bands ,there was many and Squeeze was one
Ah, the month I switched from dial up to high speed internet and my productivity took a dive. 😅 Thanks Pete (and Rachel!)

Article of the day
On Wednesday, May 3, 1989 The New York Times interviewed Pete as The Who prepared for the Celebrating 25 Years of The Who tour. The article was entitled "The pop life: Old Grandpa Who". Pete said when it comes to touring he feels like "an 80-year-old grandfather". ... See MoreSee Less
And here we are 35 years later... I saw them on that tour ( 25th Anniversary of the Who and the 20th Anniversary of Tommy) Giants Stadium, July 3, 1989... PHENOMENAL SHOW!!!! They opened with a somewhat truncated version of Tommy, then they just played one classic after another with a few surprises mixed in.... Possibly the greatest concert I ever saw!
I think 'The Iron Man' might have been better if it were a double album. I liked the outtakes "Real World (Can You Really Dance)", and the extended version of "Man Machines" better than most tracks that made the final album.
