I was at Watford trade union. I got Roger a tambourine xx

All I saw of the March 21,1976 Anaheim stadium appearance was the firework show from my house. I was 12 years old and not allowed to go. 😢

Wouldn't playing at the "public bath" be bad for the instruments? With all of that moisture i'd reckon guitars would get sticky and be difficult to keep in tune.

Makes you wonder how Moonie stayed alive as long as he did.

Two for me today. In 2001, I was front row for Roger’s unexpected gig in Vail. And in 2007, I was front row for Rachel and Pete’s taping (see me in the video calling Stefani). Sadly, missed Pete showing up with the Fratelli’s. That was a bummer!

Just one for me again this time. The Austin Attic Jam in 2007. I'm still pissed at Mika for being late for for Pete cutting his own set short to accommodate Mika.

Was real lucky to be at the Spectrum for Humble Pie, OX & Peter Frampton on 3/15/75. Also John came back to the Spectrum on 12/15/75 w/ the Band and witnessed my 4th WHO show in two years, which I had a 2nd seat for last Keith Moon WHO show!! Never forgot it!!

As Long As I Have You was a jam! Certainly one of his best singles.

I would love to see the interview with Roger!

I'm really enjoying you providing my daily dose of Who memories. This time, I was at two of them. FRC for Pete's 2007 SXSW keynote address, and 2nd row center, for him jamming with Mac. I remember being with Alan. I'm sorry that I don't have a distinct memory of you. Were you there?

I was there in Greenford 1965

Ah, Tampa 2007. It was a damn long way to travel to have a drink with some friends. And FWIW, I didn't hear Pete say anything that night with that level of specificity. I didn't learn about it, really, until reading Roger's book.

Did The Who ever do a gig with The Liverbirds?

Message for site moderator - further info on the 1970 Oxford Poly gig….main support band was Mike Abraham’s Blues Band ……subsequently Mike Abraham’s Blodwyn Pig. On a light note why has all this information been stored ? Well the gig was stunning and we, the group who still meet and were there have never forgotten the assault on our ears.
