I'm new to the site, so I'm not sure if I should be posting this info here but the forum title (TOMMY) seemed appropriate, but I came across a radio site celebrating the 40th anniversary of Tommy, for those of us counting. Anyhow, Pete Townshend gives an interview about the conception and writing of the album. All in all pretty cool stuff. If anyone is interested you should check it out, the website is IntheStudio.net, I'm pretty sure it is only part 1 of the interviews with Pete, but the second half isn't available yet, not sure when it will be. For anyone who likes reading or listening to interviews with rock artists you should enjoy this. Look forward to seeing more of what the site has, the Who rocks

Just wanted to add, This weekend the second half of the interview with Pete T. will be on the aforementioned site, inthestudio.net , if it is anything like the first half then i would expect an in depth, illuminating record of how the band executed this historic rock opera.
