The limitations placed upon the size that our avatar selections can be seem a tad bit unreasonably stingy. With the lack of an automatic resizing and such limitations it is quite the headache to attempt to have any image associated with ourselves. Perhaps there is something can be done to remedy this situation?

I agree finding something that size really limits you. there really is nothing that really works for it.

What sizes are commonly used on other forums. I'm happy to make some changes, but have personally found in the past that some forums I've gone to had LARGE avatars that caused pages to load slowly. In todays "high speed" world I'm sure its not as big of a problem as it was in the past.

I am happy to increase the size limitations, but would like to get some opinions on a "fair" size that people would like.
