Hi. I am hoping someone can give me some definitive answers about the live performances of the orchestral version of Tommy, particularly identifying the performer of Eyesight To The Blind on the bootleg.

I know there were 2 performances on 9 Dec 1972, and there were then 2 further performances in 1973 which I believe were on consecutive nights.

There is a bootleg or bootlegs from at least one of these performances which is/are variously dated as 1972 and 1973. The performers are all identified except for the singer of Eyesight who is listed as L'Anglo Mysterioso. That's very close to the pseudonym used by George Harrison on Cream's Badge, but as it is a bootleg there is no reason for anyone to use a false name.

I believe this could be Australian singer Ronnie Charles who sang the song for at least one of the 1972 shows and then went on to record an orchestral rock album with Lou Reizner called Prestidigitation.

My questions are:

1. Is the soundboard bootleg that is generally around of one of the 1972 or 1973 shows?

2. If it is 1972, is it the early or late show?

3. Is there any documentation confirming who sang Eyesight at either or both of the 1972 shows?

4. Is the bootleg the same show that was later broadcast by the BBC?

Detailed questions I know, but I am hoping that someone can help me. Thanks in advance.
