I recall reading a Pete Townshend interview many years ago in which PT says he is not the guitarist on Zoot Suit or I'm The Face. Presumably not on the High Numbers version of Leavin' Here or Here 'Tis either. I must say, none of those guitar riffs are very PT. PT said it was a very young studio musician that he noted was fantastic and very into jazz guitar. Does anybody know the name of the guitarist in question?

why would the High Numbers put out a song Pete did not play on? The only studio guitarist I heard of them playing with Twas Jimmy Paige.
